The syllabus of the HeteroCatal course describes thoroughly these four areas: (i) Theory behind heterogeneous catalysis, (ii) Synthesis of catalysts, (iii) Characterization, and (iv) Industrial examples of heterogeneous catalysts application.

Introductory seminar for the first year students covering basic principles in chemistry (nomenclature, equations and calculations from them, concentrations, molecular structure,...).

C2200 Chemical Synthesis - Laboratory

Laboratory exercises focused on the synthesis of both organic and inorganic compounds. The preparation procedures include simple vacuum and dry nitrogen techniques.
